The believer's praise.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who gave himself for our sins
to rescue us from the present evil age,
according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Galatians 1:3-5
It's great when you know God has listened to your prayer.
That thing that you prayed about and committed to Him has come about. You realize only God could have done it. And He did so because you asked it of Him. Your request was granted.
Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my sighing.
Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
Morning by morning, O LORD,
you hear my voice;
morning by morning I lay my requests
before you and wait in expectation.
Psalm 5:1-3
Every spring, there is a resurrection of life. Here in my part of the world, the trees begin to wake up from their long winter's nap. Daffodils will be blooming, announcing the return of spring.
Believers, likewise, smile in the light of our Lord. In prayer, we declare our dependence on Him and are reminded of the joy only Christ can give.

A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all.
Psalm 34:19
Sweet hour of prayer. Have you spent an hour in prayer? Appoint a time to meet with God. Dedicate at least one hour a week to earnest, targeted prayer. A friend of mine once said 'Seven days without prayer makes one weak.' If you can discipline yourself, pray every morning. See if there is blessing for this faith practice.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Psalm 5:11
This verse makes me think of Ruth who told Boaz to spread the corner of his garment over her (Ruth 3:9). He would redeem her by transferring property owned by Naomi. And this whole story makes me think of Jesus Christ transferring my shame and purchasing me by becoming the sacrificial death on the cross for the purification of sins.
Praise the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Pray for people.
Read the Bible.
Aim your trust.
Yield your will.
Hear the daffodil's trumpet. Hear the believer's praise.
Sing JOY!
